Many visitors want to to know where the public can swim at Tappan Lake. If you don’t have a boat, the only public place to swim is at the Tappan Campground Beach.

The Tappan Campground Beach is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are no lifeguards at the beach. The swimming area is Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm and Friday – Sunday from 10 am to 8pm.

There are changing rooms, restrooms, picnic pavilions and a concession stand.

There is a daily $5 fee for one person, or $10 fee per car.
